The Kansas College Scene - An Exclusive U.S. College Search Report
Kansas is a land of unspoiled beauty. Though it may lack the majestic mountains of its Western neighbors or the big-city atmosphere present in parts of the East Coast. Kansas has something many other states don't have: several miles and miles of pristine farmland, historic sites that recall the times of the pioneers, and just enough urban areas to keep city dwellers happy.
The University of Kansas, and Kansas State University are the most popular universities in the state, but there are many other great colleges in Kansas. Wichita State University offers in excess of 60 undergraduate degree programs in more than 200 areas of study in six undergraduate colleges. The Graduate School offers a large selection as well, including 56 Master's degrees in more than 100 areas.
For prospective students who aren't interested in a traditional university, there are a number of smaller Kansas colleges and technical schools that offer a more personlized experience. Examples include the highly touted St Mary's in Topeka, and Bryan College, which is a great technical school with several locations in Kansas.
